When it comes to applying for visas, it can be a stressful process.
After a student visa refusal, I met "Mr JIN".
He wanted to challenge the decision and fight for his student visa to be granted because he believed in his dream of one day becoming a legendary boat builder (he also has an even wilder dream, of sailing a boat he makes in Australia with his friends, back to Korea, WOW!)
I (Miki) flew from Sydney to Brisbane to go support him as his Registered Migration Agent.
After 1 year of waiting for a "court date" with the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Mr JIN's visa was originally going to be refused again, but after about 2 hours of explaining all his life plans and goals and having me supporting him to explain them all, it was granted!
I asked Mr JIN what makes him so positive and eager to fulfill his dreams, despite these challenges and he simply said: "It's not over, until it's over"
(meaning you should fight for what you want and 'it's never too late')
We still have many chances in our life to pursue our goals. No matter what obstacles come our way.
Congratulations Mr JIN. Your hard work and efforts paid off. I wish you all the best.
